To provide all riders with a safe and enjoyable experience, the following policies are in effect.

Check in starts 1/2 hour before your ride time and closes 5 minutes before your scheduled ride.   Please plan sufficient time for delays on the highway so that you will arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before your scheduled time.  In the event you have missed your ride, you will be classified as a NO SHOW and your ride may be forfeited with no refund. Please leave extra time for heavy traffic. 

It is your responsibility to verify your reservation was made correctly and to arrive on time.

Cancellation and Changes Policy:

For groups of 7 or less

  • More than 24 hours from time of tour – 4% cancellation fee
  • NO CHARGE to reschedule or change rider numbers
  • Less than 24 hours Up until 8 am the day of tour– No refunds
  • 50% Cancellation Fee, balance credited to your account
  • After 8am the day of tour including No Shows – No refunds
  • 100% Cancellation Fee

For groups of 8 or more

  • More than 48 hours or more from time of tour – 4% cancellation fee
  • NO CHARGE to reschedule or change rider numbers
  • Less than 24 hours Up until 8 am the day of tour – No refunds
  • 50% Cancellation Fee, balance credited to your account
  • After 8am the day of tour including No Shows – No refunds
  • 100% Cancellation Fee

Rain Policy: We operate Rain or Shine and will only delay or cancel your ride when there are severe weather warnings. If it is forecasting rain in our location, for the day and time of your ride, same day rescheduling is permitted up to 2 hours before your ride start time.  No refunds.

Pets are NOT allowed.  They are not allowed out of the car on a leash, in a crate or in any other form on our property.  Pets cannot be left in your car unattended on hot days.

Issues beyond our control – We cannot control the weather and therefore cannot guarantee trail and ride conditions, including a cloudless sky to be able to view the sunset. Certain circumstances such as trail conditions and weather may limit traveling faster than a walk including on our advanced rides. This is beyond our control and discounts or refunds will not be provided.

Weight limits: Our maximum weight is 250 lbs, without exception and yes you may be weighed.  This is for both the comfort and safety of our horses.

Children’s ages:  The minimum age for children on private rides is 6 years old without exception.  ID is required.  Minimum age for group rides is 8 years old and ID is required for 8 and 9 year olds.

Attire: We recommend all riders wear long pants and closed toed shoes. Large work boots and high heeled shoes are not permitted. Backpacks, purses, fanny packs, selfie sticks must be left behind.  Only our pouches can be used to carry small articles such as cell phones, drinks, keys etc. All items brought on your ride are at your own risk for loss or damage.

Helmets: Mandatory for all riders.  ASTM approved horseback riding helmets are provided free of charge and are mandatory for all riders.  Our helmets are sanitized after every use, and you are welcome to bring a hairnet to use underneath however ball caps or any other hat that does not allow the helmet to sit properly is not permitted.

You may bring your own helmet for use, providing it is up to current ASTM standards and properly adjusted.

Pictures: You are welcome to take pictures with your phone on your ride, however you should only do so when the horse is stopped.  For safety reasons our guides are not permitted to take your camera on the trail and take photos with it.

Unable to complete ride:  It is the riders responsibility to ensure the ride they have chosen is suitable for their fitness to complete.  In the event you are unable to complete your ride, a car will be sent for you and a $50 pick up fee will be applied.  Alternatively on private rides only, the entire ride can be cut short if possible, without refund or credit.

Ride Procedures:  All rides are in single file and passing is not allowed for safety reasons.  Helmets must be worn at all times while mounted.  Reins must be held at all times and pictures should only be taken while stopped.  Holding your horse back and then catching up is prohibited.  Smoking is prohibited while riding.  Guide instructions must be followed at all times.
